For generations the bells in the Tower have rung to celebrate weddings, national events, and as an invite to prayer. The Tower is part of the beauty of Wetherby and features in the lives and stories of many of our families. The craftsmen and stonemasons built well, currently there is an appeal for restoration funds. After 168 years the Church is in need of renovation, some of which is now pressing. Problems with the stonework to the Tower, Nave and Chancel have been identified which will cost over £100,000 to rectify. St. James Church - Wetherby. Review by Tony.
